Date: 18th-19th December 2024
Venue: Kardan University- Taimani Campus, Kabul, Afghanistan
Adroit Associates, in partnership with Kardan University, Afghanistan is proud to organize the Adroit International Research Conference 2024, a premier platform for researchers, academicians, and practitioners to address critical socio-economic development issues in conflict-affected areas. This two-day event aims to foster meaningful dialogue and collaboration by showcasing empirical research and innovative approaches to challenges faced by fragile and conflict-affected communities.
Conference Theme
Socio-economic development in conflict-affected areas faces complex challenges, including damaged infrastructure, economic instability, and weakened governance. These disruptions hinder access to essential services like education, healthcare, and livelihoods, perpetuating cycles of poverty and displacement, particularly for women and marginalized groups. Addressing these issues requires a holistic approach that integrates peacebuilding with development, focusing on immediate needs while fostering resilience through inclusive governance, sustainable growth, and community trust. Prioritizing themes such as climate adaptation, technological innovation, and gender equity can help transform conflict-affected areas into resilient, thriving societies.
This year, the conference will focus on two critical themes:
Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture
Addressing innovative strategies to enhance agricultural practices and ensure food security in conflict-affected areas.
Innovative Research for Health Systems Development
Exploring transformative research and solutions to strengthen health systems and improve outcomes in fragile regions.
