The purpose of this call for CVs is to recruit enumerators for the Wheat Crop Cutting Survey and to be part of our enumerators roster. This initiative aims to gather critical agricultural data across various provinces and districts. The selected enumerators will be responsible for implementing survey plans, conducting household interviews and surveys, and ensuring data quality and integrity. This effort supports Adroit Associates’ commitment to enhancing agricultural research and development, providing valuable insights for its client and contributing to the agricultural sector’s growth and sustainability.
Roles and Responsibilities:
As an enumerator at Adroit Associates the incumbent will play a critical role in data collection process and is expected to perform his/her assigned duties honestly, accurately, and thoroughly with none to minimal errors.
As an enumerator your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Obtain a proper plan from the supervisor and implement it.
- Conduct the surveys and interviews in specifically assigned areas as per plan.
- Manages surveys in specific provinces and districts that the supervisor assigns.
- Provide short quotes/stories, including field challenges and recommendations.
- Data transfers to KoBo considering quality, project details, and other aspects.
- Review to ensure that the number of surveys uploaded in KoBo Toolbox is as planned.
- Review the sample lists that the Project Manager shares to ensure the right people are interviewed.
- Getting GPS from each beneficiary’s interview location and uploading it to KoBo.
- Using KoBo form to record qualitative and quantitative monitoring data.
- Conduct regular data collection and assure data quality and timeliness.
- Ensure that implementation of field activities adheres to the Adroit Associates Standards.
- Understand the project information and the assigned questionnaire of interventions.
- Know field planning (survey area, timeline, interview types, survey quantity, etc.).
- Provide additional GPS-tagged quality photos from the beneficiaries/households’ sites.
- Report and address any irregular situation considering the confidentiality of the topic.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required by the supervisor.
- Report daily on the activities conducted, and the realities/issues encountered.
- Interview respondents, accurately administering the household survey questionnaire.
- Ultimately collecting all data according to instructions on the questionnaire.
- Maintain good contact with local representatives in the area of intervention.
- Provide inputs and observations from the field, sharing valuable information.
- Coordination on status of the data collection daily basis with the Provincial Team Leader and/or the supervisor.
- Any other task as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Graduated from Agriculture faculty (Agronomy, Horticulture or any other related Departments).
- Having experience in agriculture will significantly increase accuracy and we need to give preference to one who is skilled in seed sector.
- Experience in data collection, administering questionnaires and conducting interviews (Not mandatory).
- Having experience in data entry (not mandatory).
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight in rural and remote terrains.
- Understanding local languages (Dari and Pashtu).
- Having intermediate Knowledge of computer (Ms. Office program).
