We believe extraordinary contexts require extraordinary skills, experience, and commitment to achieve meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of people who are often the most vulnerable.
Why our work matters?
In our world today, conflict and fragility adversely affect over 2 billion people globally. Fragile and post-conflict countries present some of the most difficult challenges for development, as they face complex social, economic, and political barriers to progress. However, people living in these conditions — often disproportionately affected by violence, conflict, and poverty — are among the most in need of assistance and support.
Achieving results with a focus on sustainability
Through our Research and Analysis, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL), Institutional Strengthening, and Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) services, we help our clients identify and address the underlying drivers of conflict and fragility.
By working with local stakeholders to strengthen institutions, improve governance, and promote inclusive economic growth, we aim to co-create innovative solutions that drive resilience and prosperity in these contexts.
We harness the power of evidence and data to co-design and deliver solutions that contribute to transforming the extraordinarily vulnerable communities we serve.

Delivering on the SDGs
At Adroit Associates, our work is guided by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a set of 17 interrelated global objectives to achieve a more sustainable future for all. Our focus on promoting prosperous economies and resilient societies in underdeveloped, fragile states aligns with SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). Our unique approach of using data-driven research and place-based engagement to design and implement solutions also aligns with SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). By working towards these SDGs, we aim to contribute to the global effort to create a more just, equitable, and sustainable world for all.
Further expanding our contribution to achieving the SDGs, we have executed an impressive portfolio of over 120 impactful projects spanning multiple sectors- Agriculture and Food Security (SDGs 2 and 3), Governance and Rule of Law (SDG 16), Economic Development (SDGs 1 and 8), Education and Youth (SDG 4), Health and Nutrition (SDGs 2 and 3), and Environment and Energy (SGDs 7 and 13).
