Ahmad Hamid Popalzai

Ahmad Hamid Popalzai leads Adroit Associates’ Institutional Strengthening practice and serves as Country Director, partnering with NGOs, government agencies, and CSOs to build stronger organizations and more effective teams.

With over ten years of experience in Afghanistan and internationally, he helps clients work through real-world challenges: improving how they manage and lead people, setting up performance systems that stick, guiding teams through change, and using HR data to make better decisions. He is a certified Prosci® Change Management Practitioner and an OKR® Practitioner—credentials that reflect his focus on helping organizations navigate transitions and stay focused on what matters most.

He holds an MBA from Pune University in India, where he was recognized as Best Outgoing Foreign Student and received the Best Project Report award. He also holds a Diploma in Leadership and has completed professional courses in Singapore, Japan, and Sri Lanka.

Earlier in his career, he taught management, leadership, and HR courses at Dunya University and Kateb University in Afghanistan — experience that shaped his practical approach to learning and development today.
