Adroit Associates has played a critical role in overseeing aid processes across all 34 provinces of Afghanistan, shaping the trajectory of both emergency and non-emergency aid programs to ensure their effectiveness and impact. By providing rigorous oversight from beneficiary selection to outcome assessment, Adroit has fortified UNFAO’s initiatives, transforming countless lives through validated, accountable aid delivery.

The scope of this long-term engagement includes conducting Baseline, Post-Distribution Monitoring (PDM), Post-Harvest Monitoring (PHM), and Outcome Surveys, all designed to assess the effectiveness of aid distribution and its long-term impact on communities. In addition, Adroit has undertaken baseline and beneficiary verification studies for both emergency and resilience projects, ensuring the accuracy of data on beneficiaries and their needs. This project also involves the provision of independent monitoring information, coupled with periodic outcome assessments to guide future interventions and policy-making.

Over the course of this project, Adroit has surveyed over 600,000 households and facilitated more than 300 Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), generating a robust dataset that informs actionable insights. The team has produced over 100 detailed reports, each providing evidence-based recommendations that contribute to improved aid delivery and the achievement of project goals.

As a long-term agreement (LTA) holder with UNFAO, Adroit Associates has consistently delivered third-party monitoring services since 2020. Through baseline surveys, beneficiary verification, post-distribution monitoring, and post-harvest/outcome monitoring of emergency and resilience projects implemented by UNFAO and its partners, Adroit has been instrumental in strengthening aid processes and enhancing resilience across Afghanistan.
