Profile

Elshaday Hagos is a development professional with over five years of experience in project coordination, research, communications, partnership building, and business development. Her work focuses on peace and security, governance, education, gender, and development programming, with a particular interest in evidence-based policy and program implementation.

She holds an educational background in Political Science and International Relations and throughout her career, she has worked with civil society organizations, academic institutions (think-tank), and development partners, supporting project implementation, stakeholder engagement, proposal development, research, and strategic communications.

Elshaday has contributed to initiatives related to peacebuilding, governance, education in conflict-affected settings, gender inclusively, and youth empowerment. Her experience includes coordinating projects, supporting policy dialogues and workshops, developing funding proposals, managing partnerships, and producing research and communication materials. She has also engaged with government institutions, development organizations, and regional stakeholders on issues related to peace, governance, and social development.

Currently, Elshaday serves as a Partnership and Business Development Manager at Adroit Associates Ethiopia Office, where she leads partnership engagement, supports business development efforts, identifies growth opportunities, coordinates proposal development, and strengthens relationships with clients and partners.
