Dr. Tariq boasts over 30 years of expertise in child survival, maternal and newborn health, reproductive health, nutrition, education, and more. With a strong foundation in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning, he has incorporated pivotal lessons into health initiatives across Afghanistan, Nepal, Tajikistan, and Pakistan. He’s also spearheaded Information Management and Innovation systems, notably co-leading USAID/JHPEIGO research on misoprostol for postpartum hemorrhage prevention. His extensive collaboration with ministries, UN agencies, and NGOs has significantly influenced national child survival and nutrition policies.
