Shah Mahmood Azemy

Shah Mahmood is a seasoned agricultural professional with a robust educational foundation and extensive hands-on experience. He holds a Master’s degree in Horticulture (Fruits and Horticulture Technology) from the prestigious Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI), earned in collaboration with the Afghanistan National Agriculture Science and Technology University (ANASTU). Prior to this, Mahmood obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Nangarhar University, Afghanistan. 

Over the past decade, Mahmood has amassed a diverse portfolio of experience, working with both national and international organizations in various management roles. His responsibilities have spanned the full spectrum of agricultural operations, including program management, field management, extension services, agribusiness and market development, orchard management, post-harvest technology, and high-value, low-volume crop production.

In his current role as a Project Manager for Research and Evaluation, Mahmood leverages his exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive impactful initiatives. He is committed to continuous learning and adaptation, ensuring his expertise remains at the forefront of the evolving agricultural landscape.
