We are seeking an experienced Senior Evaluation Consultant with subject-matter expertise in any sector listed below:
- Agriculture and Food Security
- Economic Development & Livelihoods

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and conducting evaluations, with the ability to deliver actionable insights for program improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust evaluation frameworks, including mixed-method approaches (quantitative & qualitative).
- Lead remote and/or field-based evaluations, ensuring methodological rigor and ethical compliance.
- Produce high-quality reports with clear recommendations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate in project defense meetings, presenting findings to donors and partners.
- Work closely with international teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Key Selection Criteria
Education:
- Master’s degree or higher in International Development, Public Health, Social Sciences, Economics, Agriculture, Humanitarian Affairs, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) or Project Management (e.g., PMD Pro, IPDET) are a strong advantage.
Experience:
· Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in program evaluations (preferably in development/humanitarian sectors).
· Subject Matter Expertise in one or more of:
- Health & Nutrition | Humanitarian Assistance | Women Empowerment & Gender Equality
- Agriculture & Food Security | Economic Development & Livelihoods | Mine Action
- Governance, Rule of Law & Civil Society | Education & Youth Development | Environment, Energy & Climate Action | Management & Strategy
· Fluency in English (excellent written & spoken communication skills).
· Proven ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
· Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical/evaluation tools (e.g., SPSS, NVivo, KOBO).
· Prior experience working with international organizations (UN, INGOs, donors) preferred.
Desirable:
- Additional language skills (Urdu, French, Arabic) a plus.
- Familiarity with cross-cultural contexts and adaptive evaluation methodologies.
