We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to develop visually compelling designs that align with our brand identity and communication goals. The ideal candidate, based in our office in Kabul, Afghanistan, will have a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in digital and print design, along with proficiency in industry-standard design tools. The Graphic Designer will collaborate with the marketing and communications team to produce high-quality visuals for websites, social media, reports, presentations, and other materials.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Design & Branding:
- Create visually engaging designs for digital and print materials, including websites, social media graphics, infographics, brochures, reports, and presentations.
- Ensure all designs adhere to Adroit Associates’ brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all platforms.
- Develop innovative design concepts that effectively communicate the organization’s mission and values.
Collaboration & Content Support:
- Work closely with the marketing and communications team to translate ideas into compelling visual content.
- Collaborate with writers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project objectives.
- Assist in the creation of visual content for campaigns, events, and promotional materials.
Digital & Print Production:
- Prepare and optimize graphics for web and print, ensuring high-quality output.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies to enhance creative output.
Asset Management:
- Organize and maintain a library of design assets, including templates, icons, and images.
- Ensure all designs are archived and easily accessible for future use.
Other Responsibilities:
Carry out additional graphic design tasks and related duties as assigned by the supervisor to support and enhance overall visual communication and marketing objectives.
Key Selection Criteria
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Additional certifications in design software or digital marketing are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality visual content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
- Experience designing for both digital and print media, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and web design is an advantage.
